Wednesday 16th August saw the Barwon Sports Academy host its 7th annual Bis Sport Breakfast. The breakfast was held in the Captains room at Simonds Stadium and was attended by 170 local businesses, organisations, schools, council and like minded people.
Bis-Sport is a grants program that provides financial assistance to local athletes competing at state and national level. Billy Brownless and Geelong running sensation Jess Gulli-Nance were joint MC’s for the morning and provided entertainment through interviews with special guest Matthew Knights from the Geelong Football Club and BSA athletes and Bis Sport recipients Mia Gross (Athletics), Emma Walters (Netball) and Jack Terrill (Basketball).
Thank you to all those who attended the breakfast to support a worthy cause.
