Barwon Sports Academy

In demonstrating that disability was no barrier to sporting excellence, Richard Coleman, strong willed and positive achieved a number 1 ranking in the world in 2004.  His gold medal winning victory in the 800 meters wheelchair final at the 2004 Athens Paralympics was the highlight of his performances that also included a silver medal in the 100 meters relay and top ten finishes in other events.  Richard will compete again at the 2008 Beijing Paralympics.
