Grew up in Grovedale doing athletics (multi events) and netball as a Centre achieving state representation in both before taking on a scholarship at AIS for netball in 1994 after finishing VCE and deferring Bc App. Sc Human Movement degree.
This lead to successful selection into the Australian 21/U team at 18 for the following 4 years from 1994-1997 Captaining the side to the World Youth Cup in 1996. Club wise I was playing with Melbourne Blue which evolved to Melbourne Phoenix, playing with Phoenix from 1997-2004 (8years) including Commonwealth Bank Trophy titles in 97, 2000, 2002 & 2003. Playing 120 games
I made my debut in the Australian Team in 2001 and have toured England, South Africa and New Zealand in the Green and Gold playing 9 tests.
I completed the Bc. Science Human Movement Degree and have worked in Marketing and Membership at Western Bulldogs, Recruitment, and Personal training, before retiring in 2004 from netball after becoming pregnant. I have 2 sons Henry 3 and Samuel 1 and currently do consultative coaching with Geelong Flyers and are the chairperson for the Geelong Netball Submission Group for a Licence into the new 2009 Victorian Netball League.
