The BSA has an extensive Medical Network to provide athletes with benefits such as priority access and discounted rates. The network includes physiotherapists, sports psychologists, podiatrists, chiropractors, dietitians & diagnostic imaging. 

Some of these BSA medical services providers can be found below. If you require the services of a provider not listed, please contact Tom (Programs Coordinator) and he will be able to assist. 

The BSA have a longstanding partnership with Corio Bay Health Group who are a preferred provider of physiotherapy and other medical services for BSA athletes.

Corio Bay Physiotherapist will conduct all first year musculoskeletal screenings for BSA athletes. Each sport is allocated a physio who has previous experience/interests in that sport and understands the physical demands of the sport. Further information about the screening process can be found below.

As part of the agreement between the BSA and Corio Bay Health Group all BSA athletes are offered a discounted rate for medical treatments. All BSA athletes will be given a card which be used for the discount, athletes must bring this care to the treatment for the discount to be applied. 

Lake Imaging have multiple medical imaging suites over Geelong and are a valued partner of the BSA. Lake Imaging will provide our athletes access to Radiology services at a 'Bulk Bill' rate where there is a Medicare rebate for the test. Discounted amounts will be available for non government rebate. All BSA athletes will be given a card which be used for the 'bulk bill'or discounted rate, athletes must bring this care to the examination for the discount to be applied.
